About Jason

Jason E. Gillikin, CPHQ, LSSGB,  is a dual-career professional active in both the healthcare quality and the publishing industries. He currently works as an industry consultant and also runs a small literary non-profit and a small bookstore.

When he’s not working, he enjoys backcountry hiking, scuba diving, kayaking, and amateur photography. He supports his partner in caring for a menagerie of more than 60 animals, many of them exotic reptiles.

Gillikin earned a degree in moral philosophy and quantitative political science from Western Michigan University. He resides in Grand Rapids, Mich., and is the chief butler to four cats, two snakes, and a horse.
